This site is a tribute to our beloved Mavis, who was born on October 08, 1936. She was a loving wife, mother, (great) grandmother, aunt and sister.

A Beautiful warm Auntie leaving us with so many warm memories especially from our childhood, her laugh was infectious. A lovely idea to see this page has been set up in her memory.

My nan was an incredibly strong and brave woman. PSP must be an extremely frustrating illness to suffer from, knowing that your mind is still with it but you can't make your body do what you want it to. Nan never showed us that it was getting to her, despite the fact it must have been so difficult.
She will never be forgotten by any of her grandchildren as we all love her dearly. Rest in peace nan xxxxxxxxx
